A bespoke service for loose covers is available, as all furniture has its own style and is manufactured in different countries. There are two ways of obtaining the required templates of the furniture which will give the optimum effect to the finished job.
- the furniture must be brought in to the manufacturers workshop so that the cutter can obtain pattern templates.
- the cuttter will come out to the customers home and take templates.
This applies to all cotton and chenille covers, although if it is just base cushion covers that are required, then customers measurements will suffice.
Nylon covers are available but these can be cut from an accurate diagram with measurements. These covers do not shrink when washed and require no ironing.
Cotton covers on the other hand, are recommended to be dry cleaned, though sample pieces of fabric are supplied for the customer to wash in the machine at varying temperatures in order to gauge temperature for washing.
Below are prices to be used as a rough guide when pricing loose covers:
All cotton/chenille covers are piped to the contours and have a valance fitted. Co-ordinates such as arm capes and scatter covers can be ordered according to availabilty. Nylon loose covers are not piped and have no fitted valance due to the strength of the fabric.
